The newly 22-year-old snagged his first career interception off a Mahomes pass and returned it for a pick-six. He is the first player to ever complete a pick-six at the Superbowl as well as celebrating his birthday. From the start, the Eagles’ defense set the tone, shutting down Kansas City\u2019s offense and preventing them from scoring until the third quarter. The Chiefs struggled to find their rhythm, only managing to show flashes of their usual offensive success late in the game when Mahomes connected with rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy for a touchdown.
