My name is Emma Salter, and I am the proud president of Alliance, Butler’s LGBT organization on campus. \u00a0We have been working very hard lately to rejuvenate our organization, and are planning to make quite an impact on campus! \u00a0Alliance began as a safe space for LGBT students on campus, and that is still a core part of our organization; we will forever be a safe space for anyone at anytime. \u00a0We are also beginning to become an advocacy group, and a group dedicated to spreading awareness about the LGBT community. \u00a0We endeavor to make Butler a more friendly and accepting campus for LGBT students and allies. \u00a0We are so excited to get to work on this, and we welcome anyone to join us in our mission, regardless of sexual orientation. \u00a0We encourage everyone to get involved! \u00a0Our meetings are on Wednesday evenings at 8pm in the Dawg Den, near C-Club. \u00a0For more information, follow @butlerualliance, or email butlerualliance@gmail.com. \u00a0We also have a Facebook page, so please join to get involved:\u00a0https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/butleralliance\/<\/p>\n
