Personal Description of CME106

I think of CME106 as the gateway class to everything in digital media. It gives you the basic skills you need to get started with audio and video production, as well as Adobe programs, and then some. It is an extremely beneficial class that sets you up to take a number of Butler University’s other Creative Media and Journalism courses.

My Favorite Part of the Class

My favorite part of the class was the group projects. I thought they allowed us to earn crucial hands-on experience in the areas that this course was meant to teach us about.

My Least Favorite Part of the Class

My least favorite part of the class was the Powerpoint lectures. I don’t feel they offered that much to the course, and we probably could’ve done without them.

Things I Would Change About the Class

I would simply get rid of or minimize the role of what I said just above this. Besides that, I’d run the course the same way.
