Congratulations to Jill Allen (’13) and Mindy Welch (’79) for winning $1,000 from the NFL Play60 campaign! The NFL Play60 initiative is promoting health, fitness and wellness by encouraging kids to play at least 60 minutes per day. The Butler Lab School Movement Studio applied for this contest. Jill Allen request was to be able to purchase movement manipulatives, balls, and other PE equipment so her students can learn the importance of physical activity, living a healthy life, and what it means to be skillful. The other school request was granted at 50%, so even though the lost the contest, they still won! We’re so proud of Jill and Mindy; way to go!
