COURSES OFFERED AT BUTLER UNIVERSITY AND CHRISTIAN THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY

Based on its commitment to building the scholarly capacity of future leaders, the Desmond Tutu Center offers courses through Butler University and Christian Theological Seminary. Taught by Dr. Allan Boesak, each course aims to broaden and deepen the discourse of peace, reconciliation, and global justice.

The Christian Theological Seminary is a fully-accredited ecumenical institution offering graduate-level degree programs and lifelong learning.

Butler University is a private university with over 60 major academic fields of study in six colleges. Ranked 2nd for Midwest Regional Universities in U.S. News & World Report’s 2013 Best Colleges, the university emphasizes practicality of knowledge and offers individual attention to its students.

TUTU FELLOWS 

The goal of the Desmond Tutu Center for Peace, Reconciliation, and Global Justice Faculty and Student Fellows Program is to encourage and support work that aligns with the mission of the Center. The program is open to projects that involve and engage faculty and students of Butler University and Christian Theological Seminary. Project proposals that involve any combination of the themes of peace, reconciliation, or global justice, broadly defined, are welcomed.
