  • FOR A.F.B.

    by SIERRA

Allie is a bird, she comes & goes as she plz.
Allie is a snowflake, she fell from the skies to help us.
All is a tree, she stands tall without help.
Allie is a true angel, she blesses all people.
Allie is a kitty, sweet to good & sour to bad.
Allie is a cookie & cream Hershey bar, she has two different personalities to create sweetness.
Allie is a rose, she smells sweet & looks good.
Allie is a rabbit, she hops to get what she wants.
Allie is a glass of lemonade, she is very sweet.
Allie is Dove® soap, she is very fresh & clean.
Allie is a mouse, she is very energetic.
Allie is a true sister to me.
Allie is a good friend to all.
    Love & miss you.

  • LOVE-INDUCED CARDIAC ARREST

    by ISAIAH

I read the contents of your heart clear,
as if the lens were pierced over my iris, sear,
none; the soft-spoken often left unfed, suitcases
    left un-freed.
The girl who brings your heart to combustion
glares into the portals leading to your inner oceans.
I believe opposites disintegrate each other’s notions.
Nothing left for you or her to feed on,
your heart of gold and hers of stone
    send messages through magnetic fields.
You’re here for her love, she came to steal,
peels, the casing of your heart, and will,
    your prior undying self-esteem.
    “Love, you stole my light.
    Please, let me gleam.”

  • WHAT IS HOME?

    by ANDRE

    Home is where you lay
A place you will always stay
Your favorite place in the whole wide world
Even more than your favorite girl
You feed me on my dinner plate
I sit every night and contemplate
    Like the feeling of cotton
    So warm, fuzzy, soft
    A sunny rain
Warm but cold at the same time
The silver color of my home
    A protective family
The old nasty boot that never goes away

  • HOW IT ALL BEGAN

    by FLOR

    Bored, sitting alone as I
    write the mystical doing
    a cooking lesson while
    they have dinner and
    things. A girl named Majestic
    practiced her cooking while teaching
    anything she wanted, which was
kinda weird. She ran up the stairs to get
ready so she can go shopping for
    the parade uniforms. She said
bye as she happily ran out the door.
    She was talking to
the woman that was sad, because she lost her dog
or something. She didn’t want to cry so she
walked away. Someone was texting her.
She wrote an essay he day before with
her brother. Her brother is a person
that loves soccer. They had a game the day
before but they lost. She made fun of
him that day. She wrote a sloppy letter to her family
over in New York. When it got over there, they said, “Oh my gosh” out
    loud. They have
    been writing ever since.

  • MY DREAM ABOUT BEING A SUPERHERO

    by FLOR

    a wish to fly
    never get hurt

    be alive for everyone
    save lives left to right

    soar through the sky
    like a purple bird

    being a superhero
    saving lives left to right
    while wearing purple
