\nand wake

Did you

\nwhat she said?
\nThe words she blew across the room
\nhopefully
\nsomething
\nshe said
\nlanded
\non your
\nskin
\nor
\ngot under it.<\/p>\n

Maybe
\nthe way
\nshe took
\ntime to
\nbreak
\nwords
\napart
\nor the tears that
\nmight
\nhave slipped
\nwhen she
\ntold
\nyou about
\nher past, or what
\nshe hoped
\nfor in the future
\nor the shit
\nshe deals with now.<\/p>\n

And who is she to hope
\nthat telling you
\nwhat
\nshe feels
\nin
\nencrypted lines
\nwill make a difference?<\/p>\n

Why should you
\nbe the judge
\nof a new poet
\nstanding in front of what might as well be an
\nempty room?<\/p>\n

I guess

\nbecause it is up to you.<\/p>\n
