I do remember when I went to the store with my mom, sister, and grandmother. Then coming back home and seeing my step-grandfather lying dead. I was 8 years old. This is something that I won&#8217;t forget from my childhood. I most definitely remember spending a night at the hospital on a school night with my grandmother while she was sick with a liver problem. Then I remember getting a phone call saying my grandmother had passed. This is what I do remember.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I Want to Remember<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I want to remember when I first walked, cried, sung. My first friend. I won&#8217;t remember everything, and, to me, it&#8217;s not about sharing memories with my friends\u2014it&#8217;s about knowing who I am.
