Some people do not have any signs or symptoms at all. A person may find out they have breast cancer after a routine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/cancer\/breast\/basic_info\/mammograms.htm\" class=\"broken_link\">mammogram.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some warning signs of breast cancer are\u2014<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New lump in the breast or underarm (armpit).<\/li>\n<li>Thickening or swelling of part of the breast.<\/li>\n<li>Irritation or dimpling of breast skin.<\/li>\n<li>Redness or flaky skin in the nipple area or the breast.<\/li>\n<li>Pulling in of the nipple or pain in the nipple area.<\/li>\n<li>Nipple discharge other than breast milk, including blood.<\/li>\n<li>Any change in the size or the shape of the breast.<\/li>\n<li>Pain in any area of the breast.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind that some of these warning signs can happen with other conditions that are not cancer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have any signs that worry you, be sure to see your doctor right away.<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Different people have different warning signs for breast cancer.
