You can. Get started with tips from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ready.gov\/\" class=\"broken_link\">www.ready.gov<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Download a group texting app so your entire crew can keep in touch before, during &amp; after an emergency.<\/li>\n<li>Practice evacuating in the car with your animals, so they\u2019re more comfortable if you need to evacuate in an emergency.<\/li>\n<li>Disasters don&#8217;t #PlanAhead, but you can.\u00a0 Get the @fema app with weather alerts for up to 5 locations:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fema.gov\/mobile-app\" class=\"broken_link\">www.fema.gov\/mobile-app<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Make sure you know what your insurance policy covers before an emergency:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fema.gov\/national-flood-insurance-program\" class=\"broken_link\">www.fema.gov\/national-flood-insurance-program<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sign up for local emergency alerts in your area by searching online.<\/li>\n<li>Protect your identity: watch out for fraud and scams, and keep your personal info secure.<\/li>\n<li>Beware of frauds &amp; scams when seeking disaster assistance.
