{"id":7679,"date":"2018-08-01T08:30:43","date_gmt":"2018-08-01T12:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/healthyhorizons\/?p=7679"},"modified":"2018-07-30T13:56:19","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T17:56:19","slug":"looking-for-school-immunizations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/healthyhorizons\/safety\/looking-for-school-immunizations\/","title":{"rendered":"Looking for School Immunizations?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you or your loved ones are looking for immunizations before school starts, there are no cost\/low cost options for obtaining this needed service.\u00a0 Marion County Public Health Department has many clinics that offer immunizations free or at low cost.\u00a0 Some clinics offer appointments and others operate on a first come, first served basis.<\/p>\n<p>If you have private health insurance, you may obtain immunizations, but you will pay at the time of service and then you will seek reimbursement from your insurance.<\/p>\n<p>If on Medicaid, then services are covered.\u00a0 If you have no insurance, then you may have vaccines with a top dollar amount of $20.00 for the visit.<\/p>\n<p>The closest clinic to Butler University is located at 6940 North Michigan Street.\u00a0 This is the Northwest District Health Office.\u00a0 Their clinic hours are Mon., 3-5:30 PM;
