This week, it seems like I have been doing a lot of sitting! Sitting to finish a paper, work on a presentation or plan out my finals week. However, sitting for that long drives me CRAZY and surprisingly makes me extremely tired. After long bouts of studying, I would sleep if I could. This week, I chose to do a HIIT workout to wake me up a little bit.
I spend so much time writing workouts for my clients I spend very little time writing my own! I grabbed a pair of dumbbells and began writing. I turned on my Holiday Tunes and got to it! I felt SO much more energized compared to if I had just sat there and went to sleep.
So as you’re studying for finals, I challenge you to get up and move at least once every hour. Try breaking up a circuit workout into smaller components and complete each component during your study break. You will feel so much more energized and refreshed when you return to work!
