Today, I\u2019ll introduce the new Grade History Report in the upgraded gradebook in Moodle 2.8.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a no-frills feature that performs its intended function very well. Select the grade item in question, and the Grade History Report will show you every time a grade has been revised by any grader. For most grade items, this will be the change from an empty grade to a reported grade. This makes changed grades stand out when you see an old grade in the \u201cOriginal Grade\u201d column instead of an empty cell.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/moodleevolution\/files\/2015\/09\/Screen-21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-431\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/moodleevolution\/files\/2015\/09\/Screen-21-300x74.png\" alt=\"Grade Screen Shot\" width=\"495\" height=\"122\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/moodleevolution\/files\/2015\/09\/Screen-21-300x74.png 300w, http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/moodleevolution\/files\/2015\/09\/Screen-21.png 657w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Grade History Report documents one change per line, so if you need to see the grade revision history for a single student, I would recommend using the Select Users button at the top to filter out all other students. This will show the paper trail for grade revision for a single student on a single assignment. It will document when the grade was revised, what the old grade was, what the revised grade is, and who made the change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s it. A quick and easy way to catalog grade changes with an appropriate paper trail.
