How can I add other instructors to my Moodle course?

Instructors can add additional instructors to their learning management system courses (Moodle courses) through My.Butler, provided that individual has signed a Code of Responsibility form. Once the individual to whom you want to grant access has filled out the Code of Responsibility form, follow the steps listed below to grant them access.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours after completing these steps before your special enrollee gains access to your LMS course due to processing time requirements.

  1. Login to http://my.butler.edu
  2. Click Peoplesoft Campus Solutions.
  3. Click the Navbar icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then click Navigator.
  4. Click BU Campus Solutions > BU Advisor Access > Use > Assign Addl LMS Instructors.
  5. Find the course you wish to modify and click on the Enter Addl LMS Instructors link in the same row.
  6. Click the magnifying glass by the EmplID box and search for the name or EmplID of the faculty or staff member you wish to add. Click on the desired name in the search results to select it.
  7. Use the LMS Instructor Type drop-down box to select whether you want this individual to be an instructor, who appears on the students’ course list (visible), or an instructional assistant, who is not visible in the students’ course list (invisible).
  8. If you want to add more than one additional instructor, click the plus sign to the right of your first entry, and complete steps 6 and 7 again.
  9. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
