How do I check an eHire status?

  1. Login to My.Butler.
  2. From the main menu, click on Manager Self Service arrow Job and Personal Information arrow Check eHire Status.
  3. In the screen displayed, you’ll see three categories of transactions related to hiring. below is a description of how these categories are used in the hiring process.
    • Pending Hires: A request will appear here if you have recently submitted the eHire request, if an I-9 is needed, or if another issue is preventing the student employment request from being processed by HR.
    • Cancelled Hires: A request will appear here if you accidentally submit a student in the same position more than once.
    • Processed Hires: When a request appears here, the student has been approved to begin work.
