What is DawgAlert and how do I update my contact information for it?

DawgAlert (also known as Instant Alert Plus) is an emergency notification system. It gives Butler administrators the ability to reach students, faculty and staff on and off campus via text messages and voice and email alerts. For more information about the system, see the Dawg Alert Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

  1. Login and click on the My Info tab.
  2. Under the General pagelet, click on the DawgAlert link.
  3. Enter your desired contact information in the form that appears, then click save.

Note: Your Butler email appears by default, but you can add up to six other addresses to be notified. Students are encouraged to include a parent’s contact information as an alternate contact option.
