It allows you to specify a major and then generate an advisement audit based on that choice. To use the <strong>what-if scenario<\/strong>, follow these steps.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a title=\"How do I log into My.Butler?\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/?question=what-is-my-butler\">Login<\/a> and click <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/arrow.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-58\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/arrow.gif\" alt=\"arrow\" width=\"10\" height=\"13\" \/><\/a>\u00a0<strong>Self Service<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Student Center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Academics<\/strong> section, click on the <em>My Academics<\/em> link.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <em>Create a what-if scenario <\/em> link.<\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>What-if Report<\/strong> page, click the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/create_new_report.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-110\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/create_new_report.gif\" alt=\"Create new report button\" width=\"149\" height=\"26\" \/><\/a> button.<\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>Create What-if Scenario<\/strong> page, complete the options boxes under the <em>Program Scenario<\/em> section by making different selections from the dropdown lists from left to right. If desired, select a different <em>Academic Program<\/em> first, the the <em>Area of Study<\/em>, and finally the <em>Concentration <\/em>if appropriate.<br \/>\n<strong>Note<\/strong>: Each of these selections describes a different part of your academic profile, as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Career = Undergraduate or Graduate degree studies<\/li>\n<li>Academic Program = College<\/li>\n<li>Areay of Study = Majors\/Minors<\/li>\n<li>Concentration = Area of specialization, concentration or track<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Concentration is an optional text box.<\/li>\n<li>Under <em>Course Scenario<\/em> section, you may also select additional courses to be included in your report, but this is optional. To add a course, click the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/browse_course_catalog.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/browse_course_catalog.gif\" alt=\"Browse course catalog button\" width=\"153\" height=\"20\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/browse_course_catalog.gif 153w, http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/browse_course_catalog-150x20.gif 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 153px) 100vw, 153px\" \/><\/a> button . Then select the desired alphabetical subject code and expand that subject by clicking on the green arrow to the left of the subject to see the list of classes. To select a class, click on the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/select.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-261\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/mybutlerhelp\/files\/2012\/09\/select.gif\" alt=\"Select button\" width=\"125\" height=\"21\" \/><\/a> button to the right of the desired class.
