Note<\/strong>: The online parking registration page is only available near the beginning of each term. For assistance with parking permits when the online form is unavailable, please visit the Office of Vehicle Registration at the corner of Sunset Avenue and Hampton Drive.<\/p>\n

  1. Login<\/a> and click\"arrow\"<\/a>Self Service<\/strong> > Student Center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. In the Personal Information<\/strong> area, click on the Register My Vehicle<\/em> link.<\/li>\n
  3. The Parking Regulations page appears. Read through the agreement, click on the check box to indicate that you have read it and click the “Continue” button.<\/li>\n
  4. The Register<\/strong> My Vehicle<\/strong> page appears. By default,\u00a0information about the\u00a0last vehicle\u00a0you registered for a parking\u00a0permit at Butler will appear in the My Vehicle <\/strong>section. Verify that this is\u00a0the\u00a0vehicle you wish to register.If the correct\u00a0information\u00a0is not\u00a0displayed\u00a0or you wish to register a different vehicle,\u00a0click the \u00a0\"Clear<\/a>\u00a0button to clear all of the vehicle fields\u00a0and enter the information for the vehicle you wish to register. All\u00a0fields in this section\u00a0are required. You may view information regarding your registered vehicles by clicking the hyperlink on the page labeled “View Previous Vehicle Info”.Tip<\/strong>: In the “Make” field enter the brand of vehicle you drive (Ford, Chevrolet, Honda).\u00a0 In the “Model” field enter the model name (Taurus, Malibu, Accord).<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Permit Type:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Click the radio button next to the type of decal you\u00a0require.<\/li>\n
  6. Class Level:<\/strong>\u00a0 Click the drop-down to enter your class level.<\/li>\n
  7. First\/Additional Vehicle:<\/strong> If this is the first vehicle you are registering for the year, enter First Vehicle\/Permit<\/em>. Otherwise,\u00a0for your second vehicle (or\u00a0more)\u00a0enter Additional Vehicle\/Permit<\/em>. Replacement Permit<\/em>\u00a0is not a valid option on the self-service pages at this time.\u00a0\u00a0 Replacement permits must be obtained at the Office of Vehicle Registration at the corner of Sunset Avenue and Hampton Drive.<\/li>\n
  8. Deliver Permit To:<\/strong>\u00a0 If you selected a Resident, Village or Greek permit, the Hall\/House field will appear.\u00a0 Select the name of your residence hall or Greek house.\u00a0 Permits are delivered to residence halls during the first week of school.\u00a0 Greek permits are picked up at the Vehicle Registration Office by a house representative.If you selected a Commuter permit,\u00a0an address\u00a0may be displayed in the address fields.\u00a0\u00a0Commuter permits\u00a0require an off-campus delivery\u00a0address with an Address Type of “LOCL” or “HOME”.\u00a0\u00a0If the address shown on the screen is not correct, overriding the address using the check box labeled “Check box to override address”\u00a0will allow you to enter a different address.\u00a0 Click the\u00a0magnifying glass icon\u00a0next to the Address\u00a0Type field\u00a0to\u00a0select a different address\u00a0type.\u00a0 Permits are mailed to Commuters beginning in July.\u00a0 You may wish to change the mailing address based on where you will be able to receive mail in July or August, or you may wish to wait until you come to campus to register your vehicle.Note<\/strong>: An address entered on this page will not<\/span> be updated on any official university records. This address field is for parking permit mailing purposes only. To update your address with the university, follow the steps in the help topic titled How do I view or edit my address information (student view)?<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n
  9. Click the \"Submit<\/a> button to save your registration and send the\u00a0charge to Student Accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once you submit your registration you will not be able to change the information you entered.\u00a0 If a correction is required, please visit the Office of Vehicle Registration at the corner of Sunset Avenue and Hampton Drive.<\/p>\n
