All employees of Butler University have basic access to the MyButler<\/em> portal. It takes additional security privileges to enter grades, see rosters or enroll a student in a class, and these privileges aren’t assigned automatically\u2014users must request this additional access.<\/p>\n

Instructor access<\/em> generally refers to the ability to view class rosters and submit grades online. To get Instructor\u00a0access<\/em> to the MyButler<\/em> portal, submit a signed Code of Responsibility<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(found under New Hire Documents and Forms) to the Human Resources Office and make sure that the Registration and Records Offices is informed of the classes you will be teaching.<\/p>\n

Advisor access<\/em> includes all the functions of Instructor access, plus the ability to remove advising holds and enroll students in classes. To get Advisor access to the MyButler <\/em>portal, submit a signed Code of Responsibility<\/a><\/em> <\/em>to the Human Resources Office and an email request the\u00a0Office of Registration and Records.<\/p>\n

Seek\u00a0access<\/em> includes student schedules, class rosters and basic\u00a0demographic data about a student. To get\u00a0Seek access to the MyButler <\/em>portal, submit a signed Code of Responsibility<\/a><\/em> <\/em>to the Human Resources Office and an email request\u00a0to\u00a0helpdesk@butler.edu.<\/a><\/p>\n
