Note<\/strong>: The online parking registration page is only available near the beginning of each term. For assistance with parking permits when the online form is unavailable, please visit the Office of Vehicle Registration at 525 W. Hampton Drive.<\/p>\n

Also, please note that you will not<\/strong> be able to register your vehicle(s) if you have an outstanding traffic fine. All fines must be paid at the Office of Student Accounts before you can access the on-line registration application.<\/p>\n

  1. Login<\/a> and click BU Campus Solutions \"arrow\"<\/a>\u00a0BU Self Service \"arrow\"<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Use<\/strong> \"arrow\"<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Register My Vehicle (Emp).<\/strong><\/strong> \n

    NOTE:<\/strong> Employees must use this link to register their vehicles, NOT the link visible to those employees also taking classes at Butler under the Student Center<\/em>.<\/li>\n

  2. Read the parking regulations (if you haven’t already), then mark the checkbox labeled “I have read and understand the parking regulations.” Click the \"continue<\/a>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n
  3. The Register My Vehicle<\/strong> page appears. By default, information about the last vehicle you registered for a parking permit at Butler will appear in the My Vehicle <\/strong>section. Verify that this is the vehicle you wish to register.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If the correct information is not displayed or you wish to register a different vehicle, click the \"Clear<\/a>\u00a0button to clear all of the vehicle fields and enter the information for the vehicle you wish to register. All fields in this section are required. You may view information regarding your registered vehicles by clicking the hyperlink on the page labeled “View Previous Vehicle Info.”<\/p>\n

    1. Permit Type:<\/strong> Indicate whether you are a staff member or faculty. A Faculty\/Staff permit will be issued.<\/li>\n
    2. First\/Additional Vehicle:<\/strong>If this is the first vehicle you are registering for the year, enter First Vehicle\/Permit<\/em>. Otherwise, enter Additional Vehicle\/Permit<\/em>. Replacement permit<\/em> is not a valid option on the self-service pages at this time. Replacement decals may be obtained at the Office of Vehicle Registration at 525 W. Hampton Drive.<\/li>\n
    3. Deliver Permit To:<\/strong> Faculty and staff who are regularly on campus are requested to use their campus “dept” address for permit delivery. Those who come to campus infrequently may change this address to “home” by clicking the checkbox labeled Check box to override address. <\/strong>Click the \"magnifying<\/a>\u00a0icon next to the Address Type<\/em> field to see your address options. Changing the Address Type<\/em>field to “home” should populate your home address. If the address shown on the screen is not correct, overriding the address using the check box will allow you to enter a different address.Note: An address entered on this page will not<\/span> be updated on any official university records. This address field is for parking permit mailing purposes only.<\/strong> To update your address with the university, see How do I view and edit my personal information?<\/a><\/em> for more information.<\/li>\n
    4. Click the \"Submit<\/a>button to save your registration and request that payment be automatically deducted from your next paycheck.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Note:<\/strong> Once you submit your registration, you cannot change the information you entered. If a correction is required, please visit the Office of Vehicle Registration at 525 W. Hampton Drive.
      \nTip:<\/strong> To register a second vehicle, start a new registration page by clicking again on the “Register My Vehicle” link on the left hand menu.<\/p>\n
