Butler University is using Panopto CourseCast \u00a0to capture audio and video in the classroom. \u00a0This technology provides an easy way to record audio\/video and computer screens for playback at a later time. \u00a0Several classrooms in Jordan Hall, Fairbanks and the Pharmacy building have been equipped with special video cameras and the Panopto software. \u00a0Faculty who teach in these rooms have the capability to record their classes and make them available to students at a later date.<\/p>\n
In addition Fairbanks 160 and Jordan Hall 48 \u00a0and 37 are also equipped with Panopto recording software, video cameras and mics. \u00a0These spaces can be used to record training, small group discussions and presentations. \u00a0Any computer with the Panopto Recorder software installed and a mic can be used to record learning modules by capturing anything done on the screen and your voice.<\/p>\n
