\u00a0Login<\/strong><\/b><\/h2>\n

To log into the Panopto iOS App, tap \u201cSign In\u201d in the top left corner.<\/p>\n

\"1_2\"In the Sign In window, tap the \u201cChange Server\u201d button in the top right of the Sign In window to enter your server name (butler.hosted.panopto.com), and then tap “Sign In”.\u00a0 This will take you back to the login screen; select Moodle from the drop-down menu and enter your Butler\u00a0username and password.\u00a0 Once they are entered, click \u201cSign In\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"2_0\"<\/a>\u00a0Panopto Sessions<\/strong><\/b><\/h2>\n

You can view all of the sessions that your account has access to by tapping “All Sessions”. On this view you can select the session you’d like to play by tapping on the session.<\/p>\n

\"13\"You can also choose \u201cFolders\u201d, which will show you a list of folders that your account has access to.\u00a0 You can tap the folder to show a list of recordings in that folder.\u00a0 Tap the recording you would like to view, and it will play.<\/p>\n

Viewer Overview\"captions\"<\/a><\/strong><\/b><\/h2>\n

When viewing a session you can see and search the \u00a0slides and events for the session as well as the captions (If applicable).<\/p>\n

\"15\"If your recording is encoded with captions, tapping the Captions button will bring up the captioning for the session.<\/p>\n

\"captions\"<\/a>Tapping the screen will show the thumbnails for each event in the recording. This will also show the option to Play\/Pause, rewind 10 seconds, and the current time of the recording (displayed in the red box below).<\/p>\n

\u00a0Create Recording<\/strong><\/b><\/h2>\n

To create a recording, tap \u201cRecord and Upload\u201d on the left menu, and tap the folder where you want to store it.<\/p>\n

\"4_0\"<\/a>Enter a session name, and tap \u201cRecord a new video\u201d to begin recording.<\/p>\n

\"5_0\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Once you are finished recording, you may preview the video by tapping Play.\u00a0 You can tap \u201cRetake\u201d to shoot the video again, or \u201cUse\u201d if the video is acceptable.<\/p>\n

\"6_0\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tap “Upload” to upload your recording to the Panopto server.<\/p>\n

\"7_0\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Upload Existing Video<\/strong><\/b><\/h2>\n

To upload an existing video, tap \u201cRecord and Upload\u201d button in the left menu and tap the folder where you want to create the session.<\/p>\n

Enter a session name, and tap \u201cChoose a video\u201d to upload a video from your iOS device.<\/p>\n

Select the video that you wish to upload.<\/p>\n

At this point, you can choose to preview the video by tapping Play, change the video by tapping \u201cVideos\u201d, or tap \u201cUse\u201d to use the video.<\/p>\n
