For a typical course, enrollment information comes from Registration and Records and is updated automatically; any drops\/adds\/withdrawals are automatically reflected in Moodle. If you&#8217;re managing a community organization page, however, or want to add users to a course in which they&#8217;re not officially enrolled, you will need to add them manually:<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/question.png\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From within the course to which you want to add new users, go to the Administration block and click\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_46_14-Course_-Matt-Wright.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-297\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_46_14-Course_-Matt-Wright.png\" alt=\"Users\" width=\"50\" height=\"12\" \/><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>From the expanded Users menu, click\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-298\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_47_31-Course_-Matt-Wright.png\" alt=\"Enrolled Users\" width=\"104\" height=\"16\" \/>.<\/li>\n<li>You will be taken to a list of all the users currently enrolled in the course. Click the\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-299\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_50_47-Matt-Wright_-5-enrolled-users.png\" alt=\"Enroll Users\" width=\"89\" height=\"22\" \/>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n<li>In the window that appears, type the name of the user you want to add in the box at the bottom of the window and click\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-300\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_52_49-Matt-Wright_-5-enrolled-users.png\" alt=\"Search\" width=\"41\" height=\"10\" \/>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the role you want them to have from the\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-301\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_54_51-Matt-Wright_-5-enrolled-users.png\" alt=\"Assign Roles\" width=\"73\" height=\"13\" \/>\u00a0drop-down menu:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-302\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_57_31-.png\" alt=\"Student\" width=\"45\" height=\"10\" \/>\u00a0will add the user with the same capabilities as students have.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-303\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-13_59_23-.png\" alt=\"Course Builder\" width=\"86\" height=\"10\" \/>\u00a0will add the user with the ability to add, remove, and change course content. Course Builders do not have access to grades.<\/li>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-304\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2013\/12\/2014-02-13-14_04_49-Matt-Wright_-5-enrolled-users.png\" alt=\"Enroll\" width=\"32\" height=\"20\" \/>\u00a0button next to the user you want to add.
