One, the Chat pod, allows you to communicate via text to everyone in the meeting or specific participants. Another called the Q&amp;A pod is useful for taking questions from and assigning questions to participants.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Using the Chat Pod<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chat pod allows you to communicate with all attendees via text. If you want to chat with a particular attendee, click on their name in the Attendees pod and click\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Start Private Chat\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2014\/05\/2014-05-02-09_09_23-7.png-466\u00d7663.png\" width=\"115\" height=\"16\" \/>.<\/li>\n<li>To change the formatting of your text (size, color, etc.), use the\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-776\" alt=\"Pod Options\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2014\/05\/2014-05-01-15_09_52-Matts-Adobe-Connect-Test-Thing-Sharing.png\" width=\"28\" height=\"22\" \/>\u00a0button in the upper-right.<\/li>\n<li>When there is a new message sent via the Chat pod, the tab at the bottom of the chat pod where the message was sent will change color to notify you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Using the Q&amp;A Pod<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To add the Q&amp;A pod, click the\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-779\" alt=\"Pods\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2014\/05\/2014-05-01-15_37_35-Matts-Adobe-Connect-Test-Thing-Sharing.png\" width=\"57\" height=\"22\" \/>\u00a0menu and select\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-814\" alt=\"Q &amp; A\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/quickguides\/files\/2014\/05\/2014-05-02-10_01_10-Matts-Adobe-Connect-Test-Thing-Sharing.png\" width=\"32\" height=\"10\" \/>.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of questions as they&#8217;re posed by participants. You can click on this question and use the text box at the bottom to respond to it.
