Mine was Billie Joe Armstrong.<br \/>\nMy hero from the start listening<br \/>\nTo Green Day, day-in, day-out.<br \/>\nGreen Day was my everything and Billie Joe, the centerpiece.<br \/>\nHe stood up for his views even when others didn\u2019t care.<br \/>\nHe\u2019s just as entitled to an opinion, and he used his voice unlike I ever could.<br \/>\nWhy stay quiet when you have an audience \u2014 people to listen, people who care<br \/>\nAnd actually consider what you have to say.<br \/>\nWhen you\u2019re a nobody like me few care<br \/>\nto hear me, but with an audience I could share it all.<br \/>\nSo I look up to him and hope some day I\u2019ll be the same<br \/>\nAs him, using my voice and music just like him to share<br \/>\nMy thoughts even when others don\u2019t care<br \/>\nBecause, like it or not, this is how I feel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by NORA As children, we have a hero, A role model, an inspiration.
