On my walks home,
\nThe flowers like to scream at me.
\nThey would tell me things like, \u201cThis will end, count the cracks!\u201d<\/p>\n

So I cut them and put them in a vase and sat them on my kitchen island.
\nJust as a reminder that this will end.
\nI will end. Us will end.<\/p>\n

So I went and walked away from my home
\nBecause I wanted to stay forever
\nForever in your arms \u2014 whatever that meant.<\/p>\n

But in your kitchen- I found the same flowers.
\nI think you had them there because you think they\u2019re pretty.
\nAnd they are, until they remind you that this will end.<\/p>\n

When I asked you why you put pretty flowers in a pretty vase\/ you asked what I meant\/ you told me that there was no vase no flowers, no end.<\/p>\n

SO GET OUT OF MY HEAD!<\/p>\n

On my walk home I made up hallucinations to make myself seem crazy.
\nMy head felt on fire, and time wasn\u2019t a concept worth exploring.
\nFlowers grew and died, and I had outlasted them.
\nI keep outlasting my flowers,
\nAnd I keep replacing them
\nSo I can pick them
\nAnd place them in a vase
\nAt home.<\/p>\n

At home
\nOn my kitchen table \/ my vase was cracked (10) \/ water on the floor \/ flowers losing their shape.
\nI laughed and went to replace the vase.
\nI poured more water and gave the flowers a new arrangement.<\/p>\n

The flowers forgot to scream at me this time.
\nThey didn\u2019t tell me this was the end.
\nBut the noise of my computer finding out the news that this was the end
