{"id":1332,"date":"2011-10-03T17:31:11","date_gmt":"2011-10-03T21:31:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/?p=1332"},"modified":"2011-10-03T17:31:11","modified_gmt":"2011-10-03T21:31:11","slug":"the-stage-has-begun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/2011\/10\/03\/the-stage-has-begun\/","title":{"rendered":"The stage has begun!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was quite an exciting day!\u00a0 As a group, we discussed that we needed to begin planning out our puppet stage so over the weekend I printed out some pictures of possible puppet stage layouts.\u00a0 We voted on which one we are going to do this morning, and then over our project work time some of the children helped me lay out our pieces of wood to match the layout that won the most votes.\u00a0 The children then labeled each part of the stage.<\/p>\n<p>Towards the end of the day, Mr. Nunn (one of the preschool teachers), and three of his friends came into our room to talk about tool safety and show us how to use his tools (which we will be using during the rest of the week while building).\u00a0 The children were excited for the prospect of using tools so I think they will be quite excited to start building!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1337\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/files\/2011\/10\/DSCN23171.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1337\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1337\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/files\/2011\/10\/DSCN23171-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1337\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Madeline&#039;s label she put on the &quot;bottom&quot;
