{"id":4818,"date":"2012-10-23T16:48:48","date_gmt":"2012-10-23T20:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/?p=4818"},"modified":"2012-10-23T16:48:48","modified_gmt":"2012-10-23T20:48:48","slug":"leadership-morning-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/2012\/10\/23\/leadership-morning-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Leadership Morning Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I mentioned yesterday, we had morning meeting with Mrs. Clark&#8217;s class.\u00a0 We met again today and Mrs. Clark led the group in thinking more deeply about what a leader is.\u00a0 Mrs. Clark shared pictures with the group and the students had to put their thumbs up if the picture showed a leader and thumbs down if it did not.\u00a0 Some of the leaders we talked about included Nemo, the Lorax, and Merida from Brave.\u00a0 The students shared why they felt that these characters were leaders for example: &#8220;she was brave&#8221; and &#8220;he stood up for the trees.&#8221; We then made a list together of what a good leader does: they are brave, they are helpful, they are respectful, they stand up for others, and they help the bullies.
