{"id":5225,"date":"2012-11-14T16:38:32","date_gmt":"2012-11-14T21:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/?p=5225"},"modified":"2012-11-14T16:38:32","modified_gmt":"2012-11-14T21:38:32","slug":"studio-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/2012\/11\/14\/studio-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Studio Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the many wonderful things about our school is that as teachers we are constantly reflecting and trying to better our practices.\u00a0 This week Mrs. Grotjan and I rearranged our normal studio times so that I would have the opportunity to observe in other classrooms around the school.\u00a0 The children went to the studio today for two hours instead of their usual one hour slot on Monday or Tuesday.\u00a0 In the studio they were studying the illustrations from the books written by the authors that we are studying in Story Workshop.\u00a0 In Mrs. Grotjan&#8217;s second classroom space, the students were given free exploration time.
