{"id":602,"date":"2011-08-18T19:50:53","date_gmt":"2011-08-18T23:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/?p=602"},"modified":"2011-08-18T19:50:53","modified_gmt":"2011-08-18T23:50:53","slug":"thursday-818","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/2011\/08\/18\/thursday-818\/","title":{"rendered":"Thursday, 8\/18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good evening!<\/p>\n<p>Today, we played an extension of a game we learned on Tuesday.\u00a0 We partnered up with a friend, and each friend got a stick of unifix cubes (10 pieces in each stick).\u00a0 Then the children had to take turns rolling a dice that had 1, 2, or 3 on it.\u00a0 When they got a red number they had to add unifix cubes to complete the set of unifix cubes.\u00a0 When they got a green number they could take it away.\u00a0 The first person to get rid of their unifix cubes won!\u00a0 I was partnered with Saa, and we were laughing because we could not get rid of our unifix cubes&#8230;we kept getting the red numbers.\u00a0 When we discussed with the whole group what happened while we were playing, a lot of the other partners had the same issue so we are going to try to play tomorrow and see if our luck changes!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Here is a photo of a story book that Madeline P. made during Free Choice today.\u00a0 It is about Cars 2, and she has four chapters to it.\u00a0 She was so proud of the words she added and the creative manner she made her story book!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/files\/2011\/08\/DSCN21141.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-605\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/school60\/files\/2011\/08\/DSCN21141-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good evening!
