We&#8217;ll see how that goes. Happy writing!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Fatalism-Fight or Shrug? <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do  you think Vonnegut really believes that \u201cthere would always be wars,  that they were as easy to stop as glaciers?\u201d Why do you (or why don\u2019t  you) believe him? If he DOES believe that, why did he bother writing  this book?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow,  when I hear myself say that someone is dead, I simply shrug and  say  what the Tralfamadorians say about dead people, which is, \u2018So it  goes.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Should we take that kind of fatalism as a reasonable stance, or as the absurd musings of a lunatic?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Religion<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What  connections are drawn between religion and war, both in the  children\u2019s  crusade and Billy\u2019s war? How does this connect to the larger  ideas in  the book?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Evil and Evildoers<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou  know,\u201d Vonnegut\u2019s father said to him, \u201cyou never wrote a story with a  villain in it.\u201d Does this book have a villain? Does it feature evil?
