{"id":1322,"date":"2015-03-25T19:21:18","date_gmt":"2015-03-25T23:21:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/sga\/?p=1322"},"modified":"2015-03-25T19:21:18","modified_gmt":"2015-03-25T23:21:18","slug":"sga-assembly-passes-resolution-supporting-the-collegiate-housing-and-infrastructure-act","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/sga\/2015\/03\/25\/sga-assembly-passes-resolution-supporting-the-collegiate-housing-and-infrastructure-act\/","title":{"rendered":"SGA Assembly Passes Resolution Supporting the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During their weekly meeting on Wednesday, March 25th, the <a title=\"Assembly\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/sga\/assembly\/\">Student Government Association Assembly<\/a>\u00a0passed a resolution supporting the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act (CHIA).<\/p>\n<p>The act would eliminate a\u00a0distinction in existing tax law that would result in allowing tax-exempt charitable and educational organizations to make grants to non-University owned not-for-profit student housing entities that provide collegiate student housing.
