Open Forums for Executive Director of Human Resources Candidates

Since early September, the search committee for the University’s next Executive Director of Human Resources has been working their way through over 100 applications. After a thorough review and first-round interviews, the committee has invited three finalists for on-campus interviews. The interviews will take place on Monday,       Oct. 29, Tuesday, Oct. 30, and Monday, Nov. 5.

A vital component of such a significant search is feedback from the entire campus community. The search committee invites you to attend each candidate’s open forum to meet them and ask appropriate questions.  The dates and times are as follows:

  • Ms. Jannifer Crittendon: Monday, Oct. 29, 2:30–3:30 p.m., JH 141
  • Ms. Tami Weinzapfel-Smith: Tuesday, Oct. 30, 3–4 p.m., PB 156
  • Ms. LaVeda Howell: Monday, Nov. 5, 3–4 p.m., GH 108

We encourage all staff members to make every effort to attend.  Any questions, please contact Bill O’Donnell, Chair, Executive Director of Human Resources Search Committee.

October General Meeting Agenda

A Conversation with President Jim Danko &
Board of Trustees Chair Craig Fenneman

Wednesday, October 17
2-3 p.m.
Atherton Union, Reilly Room

Our University is exploring innovative strategies to address the incredible rate at which change is occurring in higher education worldwide, and how those changes can empower exceptional teaching and learning.

As a first step in that exploration, you are encouraged to read A Shared Strategic Vision for Butler University, and offer feedback and suggestions that could increase Butler’s opportunities for success. Three forums have been planned to provide an opportunity for such conversation with President Danko and other administrators.

If you cannot attend your respective forum, you may use the online form to share your thoughts. Your insights and interest in this important initiative is greatly appreciated.
