Why did you choose Butler for your college experience?
I applied to 13 different Universities and auditioned at 10. I had no clue what I wanted in my college experience. However, when I visited Butler it just felt right, and I could see myself being happy on this campus because I saw the way current students carried themselves. They were proud of their school and were happy to be a Bulldog.
If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming student, what would it be?
If at any point you feel overwhelmed, don’t worry. College is supposed to be demanding, it prepares you for the outside world. Calm down take a deep breath and ask someone for guidance; sometimes hearing your concerns said out loud helps you relax and know what to do.
What can an incoming student expect as they look ahead to their first year at Butler?
Prepare to be challenged and realize what you can do at your full potential. There is so much about “you” that you don’t even know yet, and Butler helps bring it out.
