If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming student, what would it be?

Get to know your SOG and your RA, because they are very willing to help you get acclimated to campus life and will do everything they can to make your freshman year the best year it could possibly be.

How did Welcome Week help you transition to Butler and life away from home?

Block Party helped me to get involved in student organizations, and the Resource Fair helped me to understand what resources Butler offers to their students to help them succeed.

What can an incoming student expect as they look ahead to their first year at Butler?

Get ready for one of the best years of your life!  No matter what your interests are, Butler offers something to meet your needs.  Expect your academics to be a bit more difficult than high school, and you will be asked to take more responsibility for your grades, but by communicating with your professor and taking advantage of the Learning Resource Center, you shouldn’t have any problems succeeding.
