If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming student, what would it be?
Having an identity and knowing who you are is key. Be unique and don’t just blend in. People who stand out are the ones who are remembered, especially during freshman year.
How did Welcome Week help you transition to Butler and life away from home?
It got me prepared for classes and I was already familiar with my unit and some of my classmates. It was nice to adjust to college life before classes started.
What can an incoming student expect as they look ahead to their first year at Butler?
EVERYTHING!!! I would do anything to be a freshman again and relive my college days from the beginning. It goes by too fast!! Definitely look forward to basketball season. You only have 4 years in your life to sit in the student section!
