If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming student, what would it be?
Get involved. Sure, you’ll meet people in class but if you’re part of clubs or organizations, you have something other than class to talk about.
What is one memory from your own orientation/ welcome week experience?
My roommate and I took advantage of everything they put on, from the Target trip to the movie on the lawn. It was all so fun and we met so many people that we ran into throughout the year!
What can an incoming student expect as they look ahead to their first year at Butler?
Your whole life changes but it’s the best change you can imagine. You are starting a new chapter in your life, so make sure you take everything in. Get involved in everything. The more you put into your college experience, the more you’ll get out of it.
