What is one memory from your own orientation/ welcome week experience?
I think something that I will always remember is doing Bulldogs In the Streets. It was a really unique experience to be doing good in the community with fellow students who were all in the same boat as you that you just had met. I will never forget that day!
How did Welcome Week help you transition to Butler and life away from home?
Instead of worrying about whether or not people would like me and if I would make new friends or not, Welcome Week really helped me to forget about all of that and just have fun and ultimately to be myself. Welcome Week made me forget about all my worries about starting college and helped me to start new friendships that I didn’t even know were starting and that I still have today.
What can an incoming student expect as they look ahead to their first year at Butler?
You can expect the best chapter of your life to begin and so many new memories and friends. Don’t wish away your time here too fast because it goes by in a flash!! If I could I would stay at Butler forever. Get ready for the best four years of your life. You will never forget them!
