What was your best memory of your freshman year?
One of my favorite memories from freshman year is rushing Hampton after the basketball team won during the Final Four Tournament. Being thrown up on a friends shoulders and cheering as a school in the street was quite the experience!
Why did you choose Butler for your college experience?
I chose Butler because I loved the idea of really getting to know your professors. I went to a small high school, so transitioning into college was easier knowing that I wouldn’t be in an assembly hall of 300 students as just another face in the crowd, but a student with a name in the classroom.
How did Welcome Week help you transition to Butler and life away from home?
Welcome Week allowed me to meet new people in a fun and exciting way. Because there were always different activities going on, I never really had the opportunity to miss home.
