In your opinion, what are two skills that are useful for an incoming student?
Humility: For some students going from being on top of the world, to square one in college can be a little intimidating and frustrating. Regardless, don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it; academically or emotionally. There are so many people here in Butler that are willing to help you out… all you need to do is ask. Being Open Minded: From small town to big cities, you are going to meet people from all sorts of backgrounds and experiences. Regardless, keep an open mind; you never know what you could learn, or who you could be best friends with if you never give it a shot.
What, in your opinion, makes Butler unique?
How much Butler loves it’s mascot Blue III. He is more than a mascot; he is a part of our Butler family!
What is one memory from your own orientation/welcome week experience?
Casino Night, It was a great opportunity to meet new people while winning prizes!
