Why did you choose Butler for your college experience?
I chose Butler for their fabulous Dance department, but I love it even more because of the great sense of community and close relationships I was able to build with the faculty and fellow students.
If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming student, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions- about anything! I guarantee that someone on campus has an answer.
What is one memory from your own orientation/ welcome week experience?
The SOGs were energetic, enthusiastic, and looked like they were having a blast. I remember thinking this must be a great place if all these upperclassmen could be so passionate about being Bulldogs! It made me feel proud to be part of this place, and motivated me to apply to be an SOG myself!
What can an incoming student expect as they look ahead to their first year at Butler?
To learn a lot- about the world, about people, and about themselves.
