If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming student, what would it be?
Remember that you are here to learn and you are paying to be at Butler but also remember to have fun and not to be too serious. Find the right balance between academics and social life.
What is one memory from your own orientation/welcome week experience?
One memory that I have is of the Playfair. This was the time where I felt most comfortable because even though I looked stupid, everyone else did too! It was a great stress reliever and also a great way to have fun.
How did Welcome Week help you transition to Butler and life away from home?
It was a great way to get used to how the campus is set up and get familiar with where I needed to go for class and for anything else that I need. It was also a good place to meet people that would be in your classes.
