What is one challenge you faced during your transition to college life and how did you overcome it?
Being homesick – I missed my family and friends and to overcome this I branched out and joined different organizations to meet new people and become involved to build in a greater connection in the Butler community.
Why did you choose Butler for your college experience?
The College of Education is a great program that would challenge me as an individual, but also give me countless hours of experience in the field. Also, the size and community of Butler was a good fit for me.
How did Welcome Week help you transition to Butler and life away from home?
Welcome Week helped me meet new people (some of whom I am still friends with today) in order to feel more connected to the Butler community.
