If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming student, what would it be?
Don’t hesitate. Don’t hesitate to meet new people, to sign up for clubs and teams, to go to events, and don’t hesitate to do your homework either.
What, in your opinion, makes Butler unique?
Butler is unique because it’s yours. You experience it the way you choose, yet you couldn’t escape its spirit if you tried. Each student pursues their major and develops their own interests, but all are connected by common stream of traditions that make it impossible for alumni to deny the fact that they are a Butler Bulldog.
How did Welcome Week help you transition to Butler and life away from home?
I think Welcome Week just kept me so distracted that I didn’t realize that I was really on my own. By the end of the week, it wasn’t so intimidating to start classes and figure out how to navigate Butler.
