Will KinderWhat is your favorite campus resource at Butler?

There’s much to do at Butler, and I strive to use as many resources as I can. Before classes, I frequently situate myself in a corner of Irwin Library to read homework or quickly cram for a test. For finals, the Science Library in Holcomb is the place to be for hardcore studying. For my speech and business classes, I often use the speaker’s lab and to help fix my bad habits with public speaking. When I don’t have practice on the weekend, I can always go to the HRC and use their machines, track, and free weights to stay in shape. But when I want to simply think, I visit the Bell Tower for some quiet time. And when I need of some BU swag or coffee, I can always stop by the bookstore.

What is your proudest moment as a Bulldog?

My first semester at Butler kept me busy with 18 credit hours, daily rowing practice, meetings, FBE meetings and homework. In October I took an Excel class that bumped me up to 19 credit hours. Needless to say, October exhausted me. Around Halloween, I represented BU in Cincinnati with the rowing team and won 1st in my races. The following week, I aced my Excel final and my schedule returned to normal. I had beaten October and I was proud of my hard work, time management and who I was becoming.
