Theoretical papers at MELUS sessions and in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.melus.org\/journal\" target=\"targeted\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i>MELUS Journal<\/i><\/a> point to a new, more broadly conceived American literature.
