2016-2017 ONE BUTLER: THE BRAIN PROJECT<\/h1>\n

The human brain is a complicated, amazing system. As the most complex organ in the human body, it is no wonder people continue to be fascinated by the incredible organ that makes us who we are.<\/p>\n

One Butler: The Brain Project\u00a0took us on a yearlong exploration of the brain, examining it through the lens of neuroscience and the impact this field of study has on all dimensions of our lives. Applying the vision of Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor\u2019s research and strategies developed from the emerging field of education neurosciences, this initiative transcended academic disciplines to educate students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader community about the fascinating world of the brain.<\/p>\n
