{"id":535,"date":"2015-09-01T11:12:10","date_gmt":"2015-09-01T15:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/coe\/?p=535"},"modified":"2015-09-01T11:16:06","modified_gmt":"2015-09-01T15:16:06","slug":"indianapolis-alliance-of-black-school-educators-scholarship-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/coe\/2015\/09\/01\/indianapolis-alliance-of-black-school-educators-scholarship-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Indianapolis Alliance of Black School Educators Scholarship Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Indianapolis Alliance of Black School Educators (IABSE) invites you to attend the\u00a08th annual IABSE Education Forum and Reception\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (IACTE).<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s discussion theme is: \u00a0Increasing and Retaining\u00a0African American University Students\u00a0in the Education\/Teaching Pipeline<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS YEAR\u2019S FORUM<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Minority students majoring in Education are\u00a0invited to network and socialize with students\u00a0from other campuses.<br \/>\n\u2022 Selected students of color from various schools\u00a0will serve on our panel and discuss some of the\u00a0successes and challenges they encounter.<br \/>\n\u2022 Students will be selected and awarded tickets to\u00a0the Indiana Black Expo Circle City Classic\u00a0Football Game scheduled for Saturday,\u00a0September 26, 2015.<br \/>\n\u2022 University faculty members, high school\u00a0counselors, and other interested supporters are\u00a0invited to participate and bring students to\u00a0share in the discussion.
