Our middle school students have been having a wonderful time on Butler’s campus this summer, and they have been making use of all of the amazing resources that Butler has to offer. \u00a0On Friday, the kids had the opportunity to use a very special space at Butler: Hinkle Fieldhouse! \u00a0The kids were so excited to have the chance to not only see the basketball court at Hinkle, but to play a game on the court. \u00a0Many of our students follow college basketball, and they had such a great time getting to experience how it feels to play basketball at Hinkle.<\/p>\n

We so appreciated being able to give our students their experience at Hinkle, and we love that we have been able to utilize so many of the amazing resources Butler has to offer. \u00a0We are truly seeing the positive effect Butler has been having on our kids. \u00a0Many of our students are talking more and more about attending college, and multiple kids now have their sights set on Butler.<\/p>\n

Nationally, 99% of Horizons students will graduate high school, and 90% will go on to higher education. \u00a0Being a part of Butler’s campus this summer has been helping our students begin to realize that that isn’t just a statistic, and that a college education is attainable. \u00a0It has been so rewarding to see our middle schoolers taking steps to have college as a goal for themselves, and we know that their experiences at Butler this summer will only help them in reaching it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
