Social media is ever-present in both the professional and personal realm. It is important for Butler University students to use professional social media as a way to network with future employers as well as develop a professional profile they can use after graduation.<\/p>\n

P3<\/sup>–a moniker truncated from Professional Presence and Profile–prepares students for the professional world and assists members to development a professional online presence using a variety of tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Diigo, and RSS feeds.<\/p>\n

P3<\/sup> is an outgrowth of partnerships between the Center for Academic Technology, Butler University Libraries, Internship and Career Services, and the Learning Resource Center, and is a component of the Information Commons program.\u00a0 Goals of the program include helping members create job connections and learn technology literacy skills essential for any Butler student.<\/p>\n

In addition to learning the tools, P3 <\/sup>members will benefit from guest speakers who will share their experiences and aid the members in building their professional profile.<\/p>\n
